Maingear reveals more heat-dissipating desktops, keeps those new Ivy Bridge internals cool
Maingear gave us a quick nudge to say something was coming. Now it can reveal that -- alongside Intel's third-generation processors inside all of its desktops and laptops -- it's further updated two of its tower models. The F131 ($1,049), the middleweight option, now houses the same vertical heat-dissipating design found on Maingear's Shift model, alongside hot-swappable storage. It's followed by the Potenza ($899), the company's "mini-ITX gaming solution." It's 45 percent smaller than the F131 with the same heat dissipation design, but still capable of squeezing in NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 680 and support for a liquid cooling setup on the side. Phew. So pick your size, pick your processor and hit up the source for all the custom desktop options.

Justin Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun were at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday (April 27) to accept the 2012 Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Award for disrupting "the traditional gatekeepers of the music industry."
Sporting a varsity jacket when he took the stage, the 18-year-old noted that a lot of what he does is a reflection of his relationship with his fans. "I don't think that I would be here without the Internet. The fans feel connected to me," he said, ABC News reports.
According to The Huffington Post, he recalled his early days of posting videos on YouTube under the moniker KidRauhl and how he was skittish of Braun, initially.
"He called me, and my mom was like, 'Why am I going to trust a guy named Scooter?' " Bieber said. "So she ignored him, and he started calling all of the places where he saw me sing in my videos. ... It was some really creepy stuff. He finally found my great aunt, who I had never met before, to try and get in contact with me."
Of those early days, Braun joked, "Either I was going to be the guy who watches videos of a young boy on the Internet and gets arrested, or I was going to sign him."
The award seems fitting, given how much Bieber's rise to fame has changed the way talent can be discovered via the internet, and can use technology to spread the word. "Ever since then," Bieber said, "We've been taking the world by storm."
Next up, Bieber plans to storm the charts with his June album release, Believe. He's expected to drop his "Boyfriend" video soon in the lead-up to the album.

Samsung patent application explores the possibility of phasing out human crossing guards
We have definitely seen our share of robots and crossing guards, but we almost never really see a combination of the two. An application filed by Samsung today at the US Patent & Trademark office seems to suggest that at least some people have been thinking long and hard about bots helping humans conquer the mean streets of our cities using a multitude of on-board tech -- from infrared and proximity sensors -- to devices enabling wireless communication between traffic lights and other robots. According to the application, the machines could inherit the traditional reflective properties often associated with crossing guard attire -- you know, the perfect guise for keeping their true intentions concealed.

Karla Vanessa Perez: Pregnant With NINE Kids!
Karla Vanessa Perez, a Mexican woman already nicknamed NuevaMom by TMZ and other celebrity gossip sites, is reportedly pregnant with nine kids! NINE!
That puts Octomom to shame! Or at least beats her by one embryo.
Perez is a month away from giving birth to six girls and three boys. Like Nadya Suleman, fertility treatments led to her record-breaking multiple pregnancy.
This is not Perez. It's Octomom photoshopped in front of a Mexican flag.
Perez confirmed the news to Mexico's Notimex news agency, saying, "It's very early to think of names for the babies ... first I hope that everything goes well."
We hope so too ... during the pregnancy and afterward. In Octomom's case, it has not, judging by the fact that she's now on welfare and may lose her kids.
No word yet if NuevaMom is also unmarried, with six offspring already, financially insolvent to the point where her kids have to poop outside, and/or insane.

Snooki Wants Baby Before Wedding
'I'm not even ready for it yet,' the 'Jersey Shore' star tells MTV News of her wedding plans.

Snooki may be planning for her baby, but she certainly isn't planning her wedding just yet. The pint-sized reality starlet wants to welcome her first-born into the world before she officially becomes Mrs. Jionni LaValle.
"I mean, I do have a dream wedding," she confessed to MTV News on Thursday in New York City, with her "Jersey Shore" besties JWoww and Pauly D by her side. "But I definitely don't even want to talk about it or think about it because I'm not even ready for it yet. I just want my baby first."
JWoww confirmed that the ever-expanding Snooki hasn't put much planning into her wedding. "She's in pregnancy mode," Jenni added.
In footage from "Snooki & JWoww" shown to the Media on Thursday, Snooki drops the bombshell on her friend that she is both pregnant and engaged. While it seems JWoww is momentarily shaken, one ultrasound later, everyone seems on board for the baby. Though, there are still plenty of antics to be had, and they include the ladies apartment hunting, torturing their respective beaus and, yes, even hitting up a club or two for a night of dancing.
"I was very excited [when we found out about the baby]. I don't know if I was more excited for what's to come or the fact that we finally moved in together," JWoww said of learning that there'd be another roommate in the house, growing inside her little friend. "But it's not a dull moment. All of us, all eight of us [are going to help out]. It's gonna have a lot of aunts and uncles."
Snooki said the pregnancy may not have been in the reality-show plan, but they made it work. "When we film, it's all about reality and what's going on in our life," she said. "So it's not like we're going in there and staging things. It's what's really going on in our life. It just so happens that I got pregnant while [we were filming]."

London Science Museum goes mobile with an augmented reality app
Using your Android phone in a museum might not be your first thought, but if you head to the London Science Museum that is exactly what you should do. Featuring well known British TV personality, Top Gear's James May, their Science Stories app takes advantage of augmented reality technology to bring the museum alive.
May will be your own personal guide to 9 of the best exhibits in the "Making The Modern World" gallery. By pointing the app at relevant points throughout the exhibits, your very own James May will appear on your screen and talk you through what you see in front of you. While not necessarily a completely new idea, it is refreshing to see an institution such as a famous museum moving into the mobile experience. Better still, at £1.99 in the Google Play Store, it's likely cheaper than those awful headphone tour guides you can purchase. Download links can be found after the break, and at the source link you can find a trigger for the app that you can try at home.
