Educational but fun iPad apps for children

Since the App Store first existed a great range of educational applications started to become available, but these have improved since the iPad was released. Now applications can make full use of the tablet PCs lovely big screen to really entertain and engage young children. Today we are looking at some educational but fun iPad apps for children.

Having an iPad loaded with apps will not only educate children; they can keep them occupied on those long trips for the holidays. First up we have a recently released application from Punflay who have a range of educational apps for children. Odd 1 Out 1.0 will help develop young children?s decision making skills, problem solving, and critical thinking.

As the user launches the app they can choose to play in either Challenge or Practice mode. The Practice mode is ideal to help the children before moving onto more difficult challenges. They can choose to play with colors, fruits, and shapes, and displays a group of whatever was chosen. They will then have to pick the correct item depending on the question.

All the activities are interesting and will keep your children occupied for hours. Other features of the app include; increase the speed of decision making, change the complexity of the decision, and much more. The app has colorful graphics with simple visual and audio explanations, and promotes independent play.

It helps users to master numbers from 1 to 10 via objects with an innovative but engaging setting. It features appealing visuals and combines fun sounds and voiceovers.

This will aid the development of hand eye coordination and get them interested in the math basics. It uses big buttons that make it easier for small fingers to navigate on the screen. There is also a color swatch that will give users endless fun mixing and matching colors. Children will also enjoy the great music in the game. It is suitable for ages between 3 and 6, and has many positive reviews from parents.
