If you are anything like me, you are a backpacker or hiking that is always looking for more lightweight backpacking tips, and that website is a really great example of a lot of lightweight backpacking tips and lightweight backpacking advice, gathered in to one convenient place.
A few things I learned were that winter tents and winter sleeping bags are both really important things to have if you plan on doing any winter camping or winter hiking. Winter weather can be pretty gnarly sometimes, and if you do not have proper winter camping gear and winter hiking gear then you are asking for trouble.
I also found a lightweight backpacking tip for this really great camping shower that I think I will probably buy. Not for winter hiking or winter camping, of course, but in the summer, when you are sweating all day, a nice shower in camp can make all the difference on a longer camping or hiking trip.
